PostgreSQL Tuning - Could not find postgreSql registry info

Hi,

Just did a fresh install of HM2 on a new windows 8.1 laptop and I'm trying to optimize my DB but i get this error when i click the PostgreSQL Tuning opion - Could not find PostgreSQL registry info.

Any suggestions?

Also when I'm importing hands from folder it's painfully slow I get 40-50h/s tops and this is a pretty powerful machine. Tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: Now after I closed HM2 and restarted I can't even connect to postgreSQL database server anymore and HM2 won't start.

Which Firewall and Anti-Virus are you using?

This is usually a firewall or windows update issue and the following guide gives a step by step guide:

Once that is resolved and you can connect again you can tune postgresql manually using the instructions here - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/gene...ance-tips.html

I fixed it by installing postgres sql 9.4. The HM2 installer has 8.4 by default and that's why it wasn't working properly for me. Importing of hands went to ~400h/s too so I'm pretty pleased.

I've heard of a newer postgres working for some, where the older one did not.
