Please make a backup of your settings and reset them as described here - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...fault+settings
If that does not solve your problems please try to rename C:\Users\UserName71\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager to C:\Users\UserName71\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager2 & try to run HM2 again. This will cause you to lose all of your settings and you will need to create a new database but it will hopefully solve the problem.
If that solves your problem please zip the settings from the TEMP directory you backed up earlier and upload it to a file hosting site like googledrive, dropbox, or filedropper and email us a download link for testing. This will help us in preventing the issue coming back in future.
If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and zip/attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing. Email this file to hm2support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread and your forum name.

We have traced this to an issue with the winsock adapter in Windows. To fix it, you'll need to reset it.
Open the Start Menu.
Expand Programs and go to Accessories.
Right-click command prompt and run it as administrator.
In Windows 8, right-click the start link, click Command Prompt (as Administrator).
Type:
netsh winsock reset
and finally press enter
