I did a lot of work on this yesterday and like Sreti I came to the conclusion that the problem is Composite Definitions. I have made all mine inactive and their respective badges and I am not having any problems. As part of my investigation I found that db size and whether or not I was playing wasn't a factor.

Like Denis, I'm happy to help testing scenarios. My next step was to introduce the composites one by one and see the result but it looks like Sreti has found the underlying problem.

What if all your composites, all your colors and all definitions with comparisions, will be using only NC.*** definitons in their formulas?

Don't request any stats from hm2 ever, even once. Don't use any compiled NC stats also - make it yoursel. Use only your own NC.*** stats (even if they are simple copies of compiled and HM2 stats). There was never any problem with this approach in all versions, all worked fine even without resets from version to version.

PedroSanchez, thank you for sharing information. At a first glance that works for me as well. I removed all the composites and right now it works as good as Swiss clock. I have to recreate all the notes at my primary DB since the update killed em all. Then I will be able to tell if everything's really good after testing it in live play.

Also, all that I'm saying applies to 2.5.1.16. I'm not sure if the 2.5.1.17 will kill the notes again or not.
