    Default Select database window

Sometimes (not always) when I open HEM, a popup window appears so I have to select a database. Sometimes it shows 1 database (one my-own named, one named the default name). It is annonying. What can I do with it? And sometimes when I close HEM it starts Syncing for a long time, even though I played like 500 hands (I have a fast internet, so that's not a problem). It also happened before some months ago, so I reinstalled. Should I try to reinstall again?

The 'select database' window you are referring to: is it the Database Manager > Database Info window or the HM Sync tab? Neither should be opening unless you click the Database button.

Please try to vacuum/analyze and reindex your database - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...29#maintenance

If you continue to have problems, try the following:

Try creating a new DataBase and import a small portion of your \HM2Archive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...y+played+hands

If the new database seems to work properly, it sounds like your database might be corrupt. This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results if necessary.

For your HM Sync issues I would recommend you disable that '[x] Auto sync when HM2 exits' option and just do it manually or stop using it completely. There are a variety of known issues with the HM Sync Beta feature where the results are not syncing properly for some customers. We are planning to completely re-work the HM Sync feature using code from our new HM Cloud application but I don't have an ETA for when this will be implemented. In the meantime while we wait for the new sync system you will need to manually sync your hands on both PCs. Here is a FAQ explaining how to best keep your original hands on both computers so you can easily sync the hands manually - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...+Using+Dropbox

Sorry, I haven't done your recommendation yet, I've tried to reinstall both PokerStars and HEM. But now there's a bigger problem. I've tried to sync database to cloud and no hands appear. I was also syncing when ending HEM. What should I do?

As said above, there are problems with HM Sync.

I've tried to unlink and connect again to cloud database. Now it seems like its downloading the hands. I'll let you know how it went.

So I tought it will sync all hands, but it only synced 1 session (which is actually totally random from 14.6, I played before a lot sessions, and after as well). So I will probably start a new database and lose my old data. Nevermind

Your old hands should be in your archive(s). All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with 7283+ it would be in \HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD.

If you are missing any hands from there and you play a site like stars/ftp/party you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results.

Yeah I emailed them, they sent me all the hands, so that's okay. Now one more question: Can I use (safely) HM sync manually? Are there issues only with the auto-sync function on the whole HM Sync?
