My HM2 is not working, and it shut downs as it cannot validate the licence.
Poker Software - Hold'em Manager 2 (HM2) gives me a 404 - Not Found error. Obviously, I am properly comnnected to the internet.

What is your antivirus?

Plesae enable the logging following the instructions at the bottom of the FAQ. Email the log file to support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread.
