    Default speed with large database

I am using notecaddy edge. I have a 15million hand database. My notes started processing at a speed of 300 hands per second for the first 500k or so. Now that I am on hand 10million, it is processing them at 20 hands per second.

I have a Crucial C300SSD, quad core 3.2GHZ intel, 12GB of ram. I have ran all postgres tuning tweaks.

How can I speed this up? Can I utilize notecaddy notes in a hud and have it read from multiple databases? Then I could split it up into like a bunch of smaller databases.

    Thoghts?

Also, should I be running maintanence from within HM2 or strait from PGadmin? I always feel like PG admin is faster.

That is more data than most mid sized businesses have and they generally hire people whose role is specifically to ensure everything is running optimally.

HM2 huds read data only from a single database

PG admin is probably better as that's what HM2 recommends http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...lyze+Database+
