    Default Import PT4 into HEM2

How do I import PT4 > HEM2 just from my postgresql database?

PT4 won't start for me so cannot export the usual way through DB management.

    Thanks.

PT4 has moved all the original handhistory files to their Processed hands folder. http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ldem+Manager+2
In HM2, run a import from folder on it.

It's not possible to import the PostgreSQL database.

Thank you, how do I export a database directly from PostGreSQL database?

PT4 database: you can backup the database in pgadminIII: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...estoreDatabase

But you can't import that database into HoldemManager.

    ---

HM2 database: you cannot use pgadminIII, because HM2 uses two locations for the database. One is not part of the PostgreSQL database. You can export all the hands, backup all the configurations etc. (Home tab--> Database).

    ---

Ideally you have to find a way to run PT4 again to export your hands if you don't have all your hands anymore in the Processed hands folder.

We do not support their backup files or exported hands. You have to import the original hands from the processed folder - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ldem+Manager+2

Thanks, done that. I got 6.7k Duplicates and 223 errors on 44k hands. Is this standard / ok?

Duplicates are very common and errors are not unheard of especially with all the recent site's updating their hand histories. You can open the Hand Importing > Import History and view the import errors and choose the save all as... option and save them to a text file to send to us for review/testing.

Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

When sending any hand history files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is too big to attach to an email please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox or filedropper and send us the download link.
