I'm not sure why this is a problem as the software is telling you exactly what to do. If it isn't clear enough it's always possible to consult the manual How to reset NoteCaddy notes - Assaultware Wiki

I get the same message. I believe OP is worried that all notes will be lost when reset.

He rightly is, all notes will be lost when resetting.

There's no other option however. Either you can't make use of the CaddyClock or you have to reset and recreate your notes.

What happens to currently collected and available caddy clock graph data when notes are reset? Do we get to keep the collected timing data of hands played live?

For the overall timing graph it's not lost but for individual definitions it is. Version 2.5 should hopefully have your resetting notes less than before though

Do you think for future versions, you will be able to preserve this data even after notes reset? Its very difficult to collect decent samples, so losing this valuable data will be a nightmare.

I see what you're saying and will look into it for a future version. That said the goal is still for note resets to only happen very rarely. Hopefully version 2.5 will have accomplished that.

Thank you. I understand it will be a hassle, but collecting this data is very difficult and ability to preserve it or transfer to a new DB/computer is highly needed

I also have a question regarding CaddyClock. I made it to show on the HUD, but I don't know how to make the Graph show up. It doesnt appear when I hover over it, like the CaddyScatter Graph shows when I hover over the N in the HUD.
