    Default HEM2 Performance

    Hey,

My normal games are 4 tables of zoom on stars whilst running HEM2 with the HUD.

My computer stats are as follows,

    Windows 8 pro
    4gb RAM
    1TB HDD
    intel core i3 3.2ghz

I'm running a IMAC and and using bootcamp to run windows.

Here is a screenshot of what I run whilst playing poker.
Gyazo - e88cb8a74154a78299ee8c94b2951a6f.png note this screenshot is not actually of when I played.

My problem is I get a lot of lag when I'm playing nothing feels smooth, when I run HEM1 its fine, Is there anything I can do to make it so I have less lag.

How much RAM is available to Windows via Bootcamp?

Based on the screenshot it looks like Windows only has 1 GB available RAM.

I'll give it a read, I didn't even know about the RAM is there a way to give windows more RAM? (Take in mind I haven't read anything yet, will do it now)

    Thanks for the reply.

    Hey,

Yeah I'm pretty sure 4GB is available to windows,

I took a screen shot of the performance levels, I'm not sure if you wanted me to take this when I was actually playing... I wasn't playing btw when I took this.

Disk 0 (100%): does you disk activity go down to 0-10% when you use HoldemManager, of it's always at 100%?
Are you using an Antivirus program that is constantly monitoring your harddisk, for example monitoring the PostgreSQL server? If so, also go over:

Memory: 72% of your RAM is being used, are there other programs using a lot of RAM?

Hey sorry I was away for yesterday.... quick question before I look at what you just said above.... Can I use HEM1 still for PLO ZOOM on stars? I've always preffered HEM1 and HEM2 is a biggie for me, I mean it isn't a "must have".

I believe that HM1 will still/currently work on PLO Zoom but there is no guarantee for how much longer it will work.

We stopped selling HM1 licenses when HM2 was released in November of 2011. We stopped updating for critical bugs and providing support for HM1 at the end of April 2014 - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...mmon+Questions
