We are working on an all new licensing system to address this and many other issues. It just made it out of private alpha testing and got checked in to our beta feed for more internal testing. We hope to have it in the forums for public beta testing very soon.

I'm really glad to see HEM2 no longer needs to phone home for license validation - I was able to startup HEM2 w/o internet access. It's been 1 year since this feature was promised but I guess better late than never
