The only thing you need in dropbox is your \HM2Archive folder. If both computers archive to the same dropbox folder the archive will always be in sync. Then when you switch computers you just manually import the hands since you last played on this computer (I usually just import the folder for this month) and the databases should have the same hands: Hand Importing > Manual Hand Import > Import Folder > C:\HM2Archive\Site\Year\Month\...
Ok.
That's exactly what I did not want to do but.....if I have to do that I guess I have to.
It is not possible to put the database in the dropbox.
You can put the information on your laptop, then access it while playing on your desktop. Then, you'll always have it available.

This is more advanced than a standard use.

Ok, that won't work. trying to set up so I can play most of time on tower at home. When I go away, I can play on my laptop without having to spend hours downloading hh's.
Also, my laptop does not have a lot of memory. Tried putting HEM2, postgres, pS'S all on an external drive with more memory. that didn't work. Cant find postgress when starting up HEM2

I think some customers use the above FAQ to share a network/server database over the internet but that is very advanced and nothing we can help with.
Have you tried using HM Sync? There are a variety of known issues with the HM Sync Beta feature not working properly where the results are not syncing properly but it mostly affects tournament players on a few particular sites. We are planning to completely re-work the HM Sync feature using code from our new HM Cloud Alpha application but I don't have an ETA for when this will be implemented.
Do you play cash only? The pic you posted showed you on the cash tab. If you don't play tournaments you should consider trying out our new HM Cloud program that is in alpha testing. It is ideal for playing from multiple computers since the database is in the cloud and has an incredibly small footprint and works amazingly well on lower spec slower computers - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/gene...uncements.html
