Default Trying to calculate PokerStars VPPs/hand myself

Ok I have a sample of about 40K hands at NL100, and the report gives the following stats:

    raked hands $0.40+: 12723
    raked hands $2.00+: 2980
    raked hands $5.00+: 0

I play six max so the stats above are the only ones that need concern me.

Now I *think* all I have to do is add these numbers together and divide by the total number of hands in the sample. Is that correct?

The reason I'm asking is I'm not sure whether the numbers "overlap" so to speak. In other words do the "raked hands $0.40+" INCLUDE the "raked hands $2.00+" and so on, or are the $2.00+ hands excluded from the $0.40+ hands? I hope that's clear!

    Thanks

    Thanks

Shouldnt overlap and you should just add / no of hands
