888 hands not shown in new DB

    Default 888 hands not shown in new DB

    Hi there,

    I tried new DBs, then reinstalled PostgreSQL, of course deleted all folders belonging to the DBs. Also renamend the 888 hh files as many of them were named like
    17111711171117111711171117111711171117111711171117 11171117111711171117111711171117111711171117111711 17111711171117111711171117111711171117111711171117 111711171117111711888poker20130605 Posadas $5-$10 No Limit Holdem.txt

    Now it seemed as all hands were imported (rembered round about 40k hands) but it does not show all of them in the reports tab. Any ideas? Really don't know what to do anymore... filters are cleared!

    Please remove c:\hmarchive and/or c:\hm2archive from your auto import folders list, as well as any folder to which your auto import folders are set to archive, or any folder that has a lot of hands files, from your auto import folders. This just creates a loop of importing and archiving and slows down your HUD, perhaps even causing it not to show up, and in some cases a crash, as Windows cannot handle the file names. This causes weird file names.

    Close HM2. Delete the Filters folder in

    7: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\

    XP: C:\Documents and Settings\User_name\Application Data\HoldemManager

    filters folder deleted, still no changes. antivir + win fw

    What is the antivirus?

    Please create a new database.

    1) Click the database name in the bottom right corner (2nd in)

    2) Click the green + sign

    3) Name it, click ok.

    4) Import the hands from c:\hm2archive using the hand importing function on the ribbon, not the import from database in the database manager.

    well, it works in a new db right now. funny enough... well thanks for the help so far. dunno what the problem was. as I said I tried new DBs several times before

    The problem could have been caused by antivir.

    If you continue to have problems in the future:

    Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager.

    Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

    1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
    2) Reboot your computer
    3) Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe
    4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...%28Firewall%29
    5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows


    Then try another new database.
