Cold call / call open

So hello again

I have a general question about this 2 different terms

Cold call means to call Someone if there is 1 limer and 1 raiser (so EP1 limps EP2 raise and you in the CU calls,so you made a Cold call)

Call open means just to call 1 raise (doesnt matter what position you have)

Sooo in HM2 there is only Cold call and no term for Call open ,even if i raise from BTN and BB calls its a Cold call and not *call the steal*(atleast is HM2 count it as a cold call) or do i see it wrong??

Call open means to call a preflop raise. It is the same as cold call. That is why there is not a separate stat.

Ok but what about a raise from Co,Bu or SB and if you get called its a Cold call,but it also means its a *call the steal*?? so it count twice ?

It's not counted twice.

Call steal is a subset of call open.

Imagine it's like looking at 2 groups:

poker players
holdem manager users

You are a member of both groups. But you're not two people. This is because you belong to a group:

holdem manager users

which is a subset of

poker players.

Not every poker player uses HEM, but every HEM user is a poker player.

Likewise, not every call open is a call steal, but every call steal is a call open.
