notecaddy stops creating notes

notecaddy creates notes normally but stops at some points and does nothing (hands per second goes all the way down to 0 and nothing happens)
I tried resetting notes but it does the same thing, after a few hands

Make a new database, reimport your hands and create notes.

If this doesn't help and it stops again there might be a problem with your hand-histories (was already a case of this kind in the forum).

I did, same problem :-(

Does it stop at the same point?

before resetting notes it stop "near the end of the database"; after creating the new database and reimporting it stops at the beginning after just 10 hands.
I have not tried resetting notes on the old database because it was big and I took the chance to make a new smaller one with only the hands I needed

So, NC stopped near the end at the old database and after 10 hands in the new database. Seems like in this part of your handhistories is a corrupted or incomplete hand-history. Erase first 20 hands in your new db and try again to create notes.

Did you import datamined hands before this happened? If so, that's lickely the problem. There is a seller of datamined hands that recently flooded the market with bugged hands that NoteCaddy can't handle.

sorry for the noob question but how do I erase the first X number of hands in my database?
No, I did not import datamined hands
I use a HH converter though because the room I play on is not natively supported by hm2; I have been using it for more than a month and this is the first time I have problems

In the reports-section of HM2, choose a report (one that includes all hands in your db) and select "show all hands" Scroll to the first hands by date and time and mark about 20 of them, right-click, delete. Restart HM2 and try again to create notes.
