    Default n2d definitions not importing

    Hi,

I drag & dropped n2d files into folder destination: appdata/roaming/holdemmanager/notecaddy definitions.

the definitions aren't showing up in the active or inactive tab

    help appreciated, thanks.

Well, try to import them in NoteCaddy (Tools > Import).

If you then get a message like "you don't have a license.....", you might want to consider to pay people for their work .....

n2d files are from coaching packs. Which coaching pack did you buy? Did you follow the instructions in the email that you got when you purchased?

Ah, that makes sense. My friend wrote the definitions and I assume he saved them as n2d to prevent them from being copied.

Does he need to change the definitions in order to allow me to import them? Half of the definitions he sent to me were XML, which imported fine.

N2d files are licensed to a single user. Most likely what he did was modified some that he bought but in that case they are still locked. Otherwise it would be too easy to steal the packs. So, in short, you are looking for xml files only

so he would need to rewrite every n2d definition from scratch? Is there anything else that could be done?

I wrote the definitions. I would like to transfer my friend some of the ones I wrote. They are not stolen in any way, shape, or form.

...what's ok. Sharing n2d-defintions is a different story. Someone put in a lot of time to make them and earn some bucks....so sharing those is moralic not ok / theft of intellectual property.
