    Default Hand purge query

I was wondering if someone could confirm for me that if i purge hands from database I dont lose the stats on all the players in those hands.

The reason i ask is that i use tablescanner a lot and I wouldn't want to lose all the fish from my data base by purging hands.

    Thanks

Purging does not delete the hand completely; it just deletes the hand history details but keeps the stats in the database. Once you purge a hand, you cannot view the hand history or view it in the Replayer. Purging frees up disk space without losing stats.

Just for clarification: Purging does delete the HH but stats are still available. Are you talking of only the HUD stats or are all stats/reports still available? If I purge hands, can I still see my winnings report, graphs and stats like VPIP etc.?

    Yes you can.

You should create a database backup before purging hands and usually the purge function is only used for mined or observed hands.
