All hands failing to import and error message "DCB ConttrolPanel has stopped working"

I recently damaged my old hard drive and needed to get a new one. Since I re-installed HM I am having difficulty in importing all my hands. The GameHistory.dat file is nearly 90kb (over 15K hands) but it's only imported 299 of them. I tried setting up a new database but everytime I try to go into options > database managment the following error message appears and HM closes.

"DCB ConttrolPanel has stopped working"

What should I do?

btw i presume you meant Mb not Kb because you wont have 15k hands in a 90kb file
