    Default Microgaming - hands not importing sometimes

    Every few days I notice that when match starts (on ladbrokes skin), HUD shows up and says 'waiting for hands' and then nothing happens, as if hands weren't imported.
    Restarting HEM 2 seems to help.

    For example - today I opened tables, opened HEM2, in a moment somebody joined my HU game on MGN, but HUD wouldnt display any stats. Doing 'stop hud / stop import / start import / start hud' did not help, but restarting HEM did.

    This is for 7785 version of HEM2.

    Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

    For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncsapp.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager2 installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

    Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

    Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

    same problem here, yesterday everything was fine, today nothing works.
    windows 7 64bit, playing at betsafe, hm ver 2.0.0.7822

    dunno if it helps, but that what i see in hh -> export hands:

    whtrn sitting in seat 1 with Ђ2228.00[Dealer]
    dobokocka sitting in seat 2 with Ђ1760.00
    GotTheGuns sitting in seat 3 with Ђ1894.50
    TMJS00 sitting in seat 4 with Ђ472.36
    DVk0Infinity sitting in seat 5 with Ђ1355.00
    _x_x sitting in seat 6 with Ђ1018.50
    dobokocka posted the small blind - Ђ5.00
    GotTheGuns posted the big blind - Ђ10.00

    propably hm can't read that "Ђ" ?

    but it doesn't write like READ HAND XXX, ERRORS XXX it looks like it doesn't see anything

    Please zip and email the original hand history and tournament summaries (for Stars, FTP, and Pacific) files from c:/hmarchive and/or c:\hm2archive

    files are zipped by right clicking - send to - compressed folder

    For multiple files, copy to a folder, then zip them.

    to support@holdemmanager.com

    We can't test exported hands.

    reinstalled poker software - looks like fixed.

    Win 7 64-bit PRO, Comodo firewall, anti-vir i guess MS Security Essentials.
    Everything runs as admin (if poker client doesnt run as an admin, HUD won't work no matter what).

    So the problem is that HUD doesn't work sometimes, because auto-import doesn't work. I can manually import hands though.
    Another thing I noticed is that when this happens and I try to close HEM2 it crashes. I have first stop HUD and importing manually, restart HEM, and only then it works.

    Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager.

    Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

    1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
    2) Reboot your computer
