Hi,
I tought I'd post to see what's going in, probably false alarm, but you never know?
After doing the update to 2.0.0.7816, when HM2 started again, my antivirus popped saying that speed.dll is a trojan.
Any info?

This is false positive alert, ignore it.
Also you can send report and file to AV support to help them update AV databases.
Can you add the file to an 'exceptions' list of the antivirus program?
Or add the entire HoldemManager folder to the exceptions list?

This is caused by the antivirus quarantining the update.exe file.
You will need to add the update.exe file in your holdemmanager2 program files folder (only exists during update)
Download the setup file - and add it to your antivirus exceptions list.
Please update to this version:

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem, describe exactly what you were doing, and attach your log.txt file -

this has continually been an issue with Avira - they fix it, and it comes back. we do not recommend them, as they block the setup and update files constantly.
Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with holdem manager.
Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:
1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...%28Firewall%29
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows
If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and attach your log.txt file.
Please 7-Zip the file before attaching it, as sometimes text files can become corrupted as attachments.
XP:
c:\documents and settings\username\application data\HoldemManager
7/vista
c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\HoldemManager
Enable the option to see Hidden Files and Disable "Hide protected operating system files": http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...in+Windows%3F+ - It should look like this: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/images/hidden.jpg

ty, I already have all sort of problems with hem2+nc, so I just thought I'd switched to another antivirus, I went to avast, this guy isn't complaining about anything, so we are ok.
Thanks for letting us know this solved your issue.
