Default safe to delete empty folders in the HM2 storage area?

after purging some hands I have a lot of empty folders here - about 25k empty out of 75k total.

is it fine to go ahead and delete these? there do not appear to be any entries in the 'players' database table for the empty folders.

    Thanks
    James

(just to be clear I'm talking about folders in the datastore that HM2 creates and manages itself - not the postgres database).

These are used for the HUD. Do not touch the folder.

Yes, you can delete the empty folders.

There is a great freeware utility/program literally called "Remove Empty Directories", or you can do it manually, see Automatically Clean Out and Remove Empty Files and Folders
