Poker stars Fix for scanner 20th January

Hi,

tried to install the file in my C:/Program Files/RVGSoftware/HoldemManager
but when I try that I got an error message from WinRar :
cannot creat stars.dll
acces refuse (refused acces)

What can I do?

This sounds like a windows user problem. Try turning UAC off or simply extract the files on your desktop then paste them into the correct folder.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. Or turn off UAC completely and reboot.

I'm playing as PS and I just updated the 2 mentioned files but I still don't have any stakes to select from ...

If you can't select stakes, it's a license issue.
Email sales@holdemmanager.com with your serial and ask if they can check if the license is enabled.

the scanner is working as faf as the table names but the player info comes up as random characters still this is starting to become annoying as my scanner hasn't worked properly in almost two months what can i do to fix this please

I read different things and solutions, I saw comments related to version 1.11.05, etc. and I found difficul to know exactly what is actual and what was temporary solution at that time.

Could you guys make me a favour of telling me what should I do / install knowing that:

- I have 1.11.06a
- I have Windows 7
- I have not tried any files or whatoever refered in the above links

Try to reinstall HoldemManager using the 93 mb full installer @ http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...ager_Setup.exe

Try to change the PokerStars lobby theme from Classic to BLACK (or vice versa)

Manually run a a Windows Update and install all .net framework updates.
