    1) Please close HM

    2) Please open PGAdminIII

It is in the Start -> Postgres folder.

    3) Enter your postgres password. The default password is typically postgrespass.

    4) Open the databases.

    5) Highlight your database.

    6) Right click, click maintenance.

    7) Run the vacuum and analyze and reindex functions.

    Please try again.

Thanks. One more question:could I just create a new database and delete the former one to free up the disk space?coz the maintenance really takes a lot of time.

If you do not want to save the database you can remove it from your computer completely.

    1) Delete database in the HM2 Database Manager. http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...r+%28Ribbon%29

    2) Delete the specific database folder inside this folder -
    Windows 7/8/Vista: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\Da tabase
You must show both hidden files and check unhide system files. See this:
    Show hidden files

    Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\User_name\Application Data\HoldemManager\Database
For showing hidden files and unhide system files, see this:
    Microsoft Corporation

    3) Delete the database from PGAdmin III - pgAdmin: PostgreSQL administration and management tools
