I am having a similar problem to this...when I click on the link to download the file it states, "(the file) could not be saved because an unknown error occurred...try saving to a different location"

Sounds like Vistas bag of tricks, what about right click and save target

Windows should always give you the option of where youd like to save a file to, might be a setting youve ticked in Tools > Internet Options >

Actually Google gave me this check it out http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewto...92d8bc5e52d64c for solutions or just use a different browser, always good to have a backup browser for these occasions
