    Default Observed Pokerstars Hands

Have just seen on PT3 forums that it is possible for PT3 to import a small amount of observed hands on Pokerstars.

Is HEM able to do this or any future plans?

I asked Pokerstars about this and reply is below. Hope this helps:

    "Hello Steve,

Unfortunately, this is a result of a miscommunication between ourselves and
the PokerTracker development team. They specifically asked for permission to
include this feature in their program.

The actual guideline issued by us is that a third-party program can import
up to 30 observed hands per SESSION (not per table). We define a session in
a particular way so that a player cannot leave their machine unattended and
use the third-party program to datamine, or do so with the assistance of
    scripting.

We have brought this mistake to the attention of the PokerTracker
developers, and expect them to make the change in time for the next beta
    release.

Table selection is an important aspect of being a profitable poker player,
as I'm sure you know. In a brick and mortar poker room, you're free to
observe tables prior to sitting down, in order to choose the most profitable
table. Online, you're free to do that as well, and we don't consider
observing hands for that purpose to be datamining. That's why we have the 30
    hands per session rule.

You can use any permitted third-party program to observe up to 30 hands per
session. The developers of any such program are free to contact us for
specific advice on how to implement this feature so as to comply with
    PokerStars rules.

The restrictions on the collection of large numbers of observed hands have
    not changed.

I hope this answers your questions, but if there's anything else I can do
for you, please let me know.

    Regards,

    Alex S
