Buying new SSD Samsung 840 series pro or Regular? Also questions about RAID 0

I am going to buy a new SSD shortly to replace the corsair I bought in 2011. I have decided I will buy either the Newegg.ca - SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series MZ-7PD256BW 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) or Newegg.ca - SAMSUNG 840 Series MZ-7TD250BW 2.5" 250GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD).

For HM2 will there be a noticeable performance difference? I see most reviews say a desktop user won't notice a difference but HM2 is kind of a unique program with the large amount of hard drive use.

Also should I hook up the Corsair I am currently using to RAID 0 with the new Samsung or will I bottle necked by the corsair performance?

There probably will not be much of a difference in performance. But, the more expensive option has a better warranty and is better/ more reliable overall.

I am sorry but am not able give a reliable opinion on this.
