To correct it for already imported hands you need to delete and reimport the hands or import them to a new database.
so just delete the hands and then auto import them again?
Yes...
If that means you have to delete thousands of hands, consider to create a new database and just reimport ALL your hands.

it was only a few recent hands so i could do it easily manually. i deleted the incorrect hands, however when trying to auto import to reload them no new hands were being imported...
You need to rename the files which contain the hands and import them via import file.
This issue hasn't been resolved, to my knowledge. I am showing the equity on the turn, but when I import it, the EV difference is non-existent (basically showing that I got it in with 0%) when I actually had 60%.
