Default Check disk spoiled PstgreSQL Database?

    After running chkdsk X: /r

It seems that my Postgresql database not working proprely.

Is it possible than this command influenced the db in someway?

If yes, how to run chk disk without affecting Postgresl data folder?

    Default

I would not expect that to cause problems with your postgresql connection but it might be wise to Stop Server under Start > Programs > PostgreSQL in the future when running chkdsk.

This is usually a firewall or windows update issue.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).
