Delete the customdaterange.filter file in the filters folder in

    7: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\

    XP: C:\Documents and Settings\User_name\Application Data\HoldemManager

See this tutorial for showing system and hidden files:

I tried this and deleted the file 'RecentCustomDateRangeFilters' but when I start hm2 again it recreates itself and the date range filter is still there.

When you deleted "RecentCustomDateRangeFilters.Filters" did you have a custom filter applied at the time in HM2? With a custom filter applied HM2 remembers & recreates it in the dropdown upon relaunch of the program. Try clicking "Clear Filters" in HM2 before deleting that file. I just tried & it works the way I've just described.

Make sure you clear the filters as loki suggests and CLOSE HM2 before you delete that file. If HM2 is open when you delete that file it will not work.

Just fyi it worked. It would be great though if they could be deleted by pressing on the 'clear filters' button.

Unfortunately I do not think everyone would like them removed every time they clicked the main ribbon clear filters button. I agree it would be nice if there was an easier way to remove them when the list gets long but it is a low priority request as it gets asked about infrequently.
