Backup and Restore app hanging

I have backed up HEM via the backup and restore utility, copied to a new laptop and run the restore. It seems to work fine for all the config stuff etc but when it gets to the database itself no progress seems to be being made. The animation on the progress bar is still happening (so it isn't truly hanging) but I have left if for 18 hours and no progress. It is almost as if it is being blocked by something or the db is locked and it can't proceed.

Both machines have V8.4 of Postgres.

Any ideas?

Please try a backup/restore via pgadminIII - Does this work?

Unfortunately I am away from the "source" machine for a week so just have the HEM generated backup on my laptop. I will restore using the old PgAdmin route next week when I am home and I can generate a PgAdmin backup.

I was hoping this was a known issue but it seems not so may as well mark this as closed.
