Custom Hud Stats slow to appear

I've noticed that the custom HUD stats from NC that I choose to place in my head are slow to appear when playing zoom. Why does this happen? Is there a way to make them appear faster? (ie. using less badges)

BTW: I have done Postgres manual performance tuning.
Vacuuming and Analyzing + reindexing in PG Admin etc

Comp Specs:
CPU: intel 2600k
Ram: 8gb 1600mhz
Hard drive: Samsung 840 SSD 250gb
DB size: 13gb

hmm if I play zoom my first hands are very slow too but for all stats NC and HEM

I mean it needs to load a hand from each player and the second time it gets faster... after xx hands HUD has normal speed...

do you have this problem only with NC HUD stats?

yeah the HM2 stats load just fine but the custom stats take sometime to load.

The way the HEM hud loads data from NC itself also contributes to this. There is a small window where data is loaded and the fact that you get new players each hand causes this. Speaking from an NC standpoint, there is nothing that can be done.

Okay, so I bought 32gb of ram so I can try and ramdisk the database.

I ended up ramdisking the database, reverting Postgres conf to default (since you don't need to configure ram if the CPU is talking directly to the ram to get the data instead of the HDD.

And its still slow. Conclusion, as of right now there's nothing you can do to speed up notecaddy badges and custom hud stufffor appearing in Zoom if you have a large DB at least.

I am going to cook something up where there's an option to preload all notes for every player. I am frequently put in difficult or impossible situations but there's always some way. Best case scenario it's ready in 1 week
