    Default Copy database to other drive

    Hy,

    To copy the database to another harddrive do i have to stop any services using W7, i red your article but the doubt remain.

    I've the database installed on D: instead of C: (Windows partition) simply reinstalling Postgresql in D:\Postgres

    Its not that simple if you have an database up and running...

    Yes you need to stop the service. Make a backup of your database before trying!
