Default Can not restore player notes

I decided to install HM2 on my 2nd computer.
I synced the database with HM sync, and I have same hands on both computers.
I have managed to restore HUDs by backing up configs on my first computer and restoring them on my laptop.
HUDs work, player notes do not.
Should they work (again, I imported the hands on my 2nd computer by using HM Sync) or do I need to restore the hands from a backup file on my first computer?
Hopefully I do not have to export hands and reimport them?
I use 7665 version on both computers.

    Thank you for your help!

    Thank you for your help.
In the restore tab I chose Skip database instead of Overwrite database.
    It works now, thanks.

I made new database, imported hands and then restored my backup. After restoring backup HM2 made a new database (and added word "saved_name of the database" to the previous database. When I look the database where I imported hands, I can't find any notes. Hud settings are in place. I tried again and back upped notes only. I restored and overwrited database and same thing happened again. No notes but only a new database. What should I do now?

Did you import hands into the database before importing the notes?

Yes I did. Anyways I had made other backup two days earlier before importing hands so I thought to try that. I restored only player notes, hand notes and marked hands using older backup (overwrite database). HM2 created again a new database (size is 6964kb). When I changed back to main database I got error message: "Oops, it looks like this database is missing on disk. Would you like to remove the reference from the list?" I answered no and opened database. There is no hands at all! When I choose the player I can see the hand amount but after that it doesn't show any other data. I closed HM2 and opened again but same problem still.

My older database crashed quite often that was the reason why I made new database. I haven't enough space on the c: drive so I created a new database to the D: drive. Everything else seemed fine but I didn't get player notes. This is just for additional info if there is something to do with why I got this error message.

When you restore a backup file and only want the hand/player notes and marks restored you have to choose the [x] Skip Database (only restore configs) option and uncheck all of the config files you don't want/need included that are unrelated to the hand/player notes and marks. It shouldn't matter if you restore the notes before or after you import the hands as long as you choose the skip database option instead of the overwrite database option.

Thank You fozzy71. I just followed Sarek's advise (link) few posts above to overwrite database. I had to create new database, import hands again and then restore without overwriting database. Now it works.
