About 4 months ago, I completely uninstalled postgres and HM2, reinstalled them both, and rebuilt my database entirely from hand histories.
In the process, my original HM2 database became orphaned.
I now realize that it has some hands in it that don't exist any more.
I would like to "attach" the database to my current HM2 installation, but I can't figure out how -- either in HM2 or PGAdmin.
Is there a way?
My system is non-standard, in that my system drive is not C:
Also, my databases are stored on a fast drive with nothing else on it.
Postgres starts with the following line:
E:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.4/bin/pg_ctl.exe runservice -N "postgresql-8.4" -D "J:/PostgreData" -w
I moved the orphaned HM2 database into J:/PostgreData but more needs to be done.
What can I do here?
Thanks,
