Pokerstars lobby - join table speed

I play on my laptop from the office and from home.
At my office - joining a table takes 1-2 seconds max.
At home it can take up to 10-20 seconds depending on where the table is in the lobby. Basically the scanner takes ages to scroll through the lobby to the correct table.

Now - I KNOW the problem has to be connected to the internet connection somehow but thing is that my home connection is really good - very good bandwidth, 65ms ping to stars servers, no problems with anything else - online games, downloads, etc...this specifically only happens with table scanner.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Is it possible that my router could be the cause somehow?

Here's a quick fix for todays PokerStars update:

Please replace the current "stars.dll" with the one from the zip file above

Sort the tables alphabetically. That way it shouldn;t scroll down the lobby over and over again to find the table

OK - some more info:
- This is not a recent issue - I've had since forever - just started to really annoy me now.
- I use server side scan - this is not a scan speed issue, even though the client scan is also much slower at home as it seems to stay much longer at each table.
- Lobby is always sorted alphabetically when I use scanner.
