Default Show what Villain has on me as my stats.

I guess the title is not so clear.

What would be a cool option would be to have HEROs stats change as the action moves around the table.

It changes depending on who the action is on. if we have 70 hands on villain then he has 70 hands on us. What were OUR stats in THOSE 70 hands.

Basically if VILLAIN had a hud what would his HUD be saying about US right now.

Am I making sense?
What if villain has datamined hands on you?
What if he has 10k hands on you and you only have 3k hands on him?

3k hands are from the tables that two of you played together, and the other 7k are from datamined company.

I suppose. But it'd work great for Rush(tm) Poker.

I wonder what percentage of HUD users buy datamined hands.

I bought .99c worth once just to see the product for myself. I wont be buying again. Perhaps if I played $200NL+ it'd be worth it.

I expect a lot more than you'd think, or that would admit to it. It's a blatant TOS violation and a hot subject among poker purists so most players are wise not to speak openly about it.

Back in my early online days, when I was using first PT2/3 and then HEM, I bought a couple hundred thousand datamined hands myself, like you say to get an idea of how the software worked without having to grind enough history figure out the tool. Sometime later though, I got poker religion and purged them all (they were all outdated micro-stakes stats anyway). But I know the market for it is huge, and a lot of people are doing it or else the market couldn't sustain itself.

So yeah, you really have no way of knowing how many hands an opponent has on you, so the information you're basing your decisions on would be inherently unreliable. Which makes it a non-ideal candidate to have any major effort thrown at it, IMO.

I've got to go with Vet on this, although I won't lodge a 'No' vote. I'm getting a distinct feeling that with programs such as HEM/PT3/HI/PO et al, the line between math and pseudo-math is becoming increasingly blurred.
