problem : very very long to export hands 4hours+ 30khands...

hello

i dont know it is normal but when i try to export hands (10, 20 or 30k hands) from my database, hm takes a crazy time to do it (many hours) and my pc is a little frozen (can't acces to desktop, cant acces to hm, but can access msn etc..)

some month ago it worked in few minutes

is there a solution?, it s way too long, or is my database too big (800k hands)?

finaly i had to stop it by Ctr Alt Del, when i did reimport hands on my other computer i found only 9 khands (i exported 30k) and there were all errors so i could no import even one!

vacuum + reindex your database before you run the export.
let me know if vacuum and reindex in pgadminIII results in any error message
