Default Computer Freeze when lauching HEM2 at "loading dashboard module"

    Hello,

I wanted to try HEM2 so I downloaded the trial version (2.0.0.7635).
I installed it together with PGSQL and I tried lauching the software. Everything runs quite smoothly until the loading screen says "Loading dashboard module". At this point, my computer freezes and I can't do anything else than hard-reboot.

I'm running HEM2 on a quite old computer : Pentium IV 2.2Ghz, 1go Ram, Radeon 9200se graphic card, Windows XP SP3.
I tried updating windows xp with all available updates, as well as dotnet.
I tried unstalling HEM2, uninstalling PGSQL, reinstalling everything.
    Nothing worked so far.

Do you have any advice on what I should try now? Exept buying a new computer which isn't an option at the moment..

I also tried to install HEM1 after that, and it works perfectly. Although the trial version is only 15days and, if I understood correctly, it's not possible to buy HEM1 licenses anymore. If there is a way I can still use HEM1 untill I can buy a better computer, it would be perfect for me. Maybe there is an option to buy HEM2 license and use HEM1 for now?

    Thanks in advance

    Tanner

Please update to the latest HM2- http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe (7649)

    1) Go to C:\Program Files\Holdem Manager 2 (Program Files (x86) for the 64bit version)
    2) Right click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
    3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
    4) Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for HudFuncsApp.exe

    5) Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

    6) Turn off User Account Control: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/1...windows-7/]How to Disable and Turn Off UAC in Windows 7 « My Digital Life

You need to make sure that this folder

    7/Vista: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\
Showing hidden files and sytem files and folders: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...torial151.html

    XP: C:\Documents and Settings\User_name\Application Data\HoldemManager
Showing hidden files and sytem files and folders: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d....mspx?mfr=true

is not read only and that all permissions are set to full for your user name. The folder will continue showing read only after that, this is an issue in Windows.

I tried checking for permissions as suggested, though I'm running windows XP, so most of the points above don't really apply.

I sent an email to support with log file attached, I hope they find something.

Thank you for your answer anyway.
