RE: postgres.exe in Task Manager

Hello,
Why do I have 4 postgres.exe applications running in the background?
Why is there not only one?
All prostgres.exe applications are using about 75K of memory and I don't
have a lot to spare.

Thats normal, Postgresql starts separate processes for nearly every connection / request to the database.

ok...well that is interesting....now I have 5 postgres.exe files
which always remain open and show sometimes active in task manager.
