Program requests license with no internet?
There are times where I go to review hands/sessions and I have no internet access, the HM2 window pops up while attempting to load requesting licensing information - Name, Organization and Key. It hasn't occurred when I had access to the internet. I've since copied the key to notepad so I'll have the key on hand. Should this be occurring?

There has been a few times where I've had my laptop with no access to HM2 when I've had time to review sessions, etc. It's a nuisance to say the least. I was discussing poker with a work mate (live tourney player) the other night and was discussing hand ranges, vpip, pfr and telling him all about HM2. Of course it wouldn't load or give me access while he was looking over my shoulder.
If I keep the license key in notepad, will HM2 accept it if I enter it manually into the popup window when it attempts to access the internet to verify? I think I just used my name in the Name and Organization field, but can't be certain.
You will need to be connected to the internet when it is verifying the serial number.

I'm going to have to agree here. This should be addressed as I've paid for the right to use the program and, shouldn't I be able to access the program from my laptop when desired? I ride as a passenger in vans quite a bit for the railroad, up to 4 hours without any internet access, for my work. Opening up one laptop and only being greeted by a blank field requesting my Name, Organization and License Key while stating my Trial period is at 0 Days is ridiculous as MartinBKK states above. Even Angry Birds operates without verifying itself.

This is a known issue currently. We do not have an ETA on a fix.
The workaround is turn on your laptop/open HM2 when you're connected. Turning things off is highly overrated.

Does this mean you have no intention of fixing this in the next few months ? It is really very inconvenient and HM1 didn't do this.
Nobody told you about "next few months".
When fixing issues, sometimes unexpected things can be encountered. Because of this is very hard to provide exact ETA for fix.
The only thing we can say now: this issue is being worked on.
It's been a while already. Can't you change it to check once a month or something like that ?
