Insta scan=server side scan???

Im confused, Is insta scan just the same as server side scan but different name?
If its the same as I got from a few updates ago and it shows insta scan on my scanner page, then its the same thing.
Nothing instant about it.

Unfortunately there are no plans to add that in the near future.
In 2-3 months we might re-evaluate that.

LOL @ "to avoid confusion", it should read "to INTEND confusion/reduce transparency". What an obv bad marketing and attitude this Tablescanner ripoff reveals now is beyond words can tell. This should all have a headline like "In search for a new additional cash-cow", way overpriced imo, not that it is a hi amount in absolute meaning but too much if you see the costs for this service splitted in ll the possible subcribers. I hope you loose a lot/don't get more subscribers due to this bad move/obv attitude of pure greed. You lost me over this, not that you would care of course.

- You have no insight about the technical requirements to offer the InstaScan service
- You have no idea about the number of possible subscribers
But you still claim it's a ripoff and overpriced?

+ Server cost
+ Maintenance
+ Staff
+ Software
and you end up spending more than 40.000$ during the last 5-6 months.
Yet you payed nothing, and you don't need to.
We are greedy because we spent all that hours of work and money and now start to charge for it?
There's no evolution, developement and security without a proper payment.


And most of the above is recurring costs that are required to keep the service running.
The $6,25 - $9,99 a month we ask for it is very competitive and quite a bargain.
Feel free to compare with others services.

Regarding the new name:
"Server-Side-Scan" is a technical term that was fine to use during the beta.
But many people don't know the difference between "Client" / "Server".
They are not familiar with the technical aspect.
This is where many of your anger comes from.
You don't know about the requirements and work involved behind the scenes.

So a new / shorter / and easy to understand term was required.
