Pacific Poker HUD position
Hi
The positions of my HUD in Pacific arent correct. I tryed this:
1) Close HM and the Table Manager.
2) Delete your existing position files, so HM will rebuild them to default.
3) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\pospref.txt and pospref2.txt.
But i dont have the file "pospref"...just prospref2 and prospef4...so i delete both and restart, but after restarting they both show up again and i keep with the wrong positions

Are you playing 6max.. on those crazy Pacific tables that have 10 seats?
the trick is to right-click in table manager.. and let it use 10-max (not 6-max settings)
-1 First of all make sure YOU always sit in the same seat position.
-2 Go to Hud Options--> Preferred Seat in HoldemManager and set that position for 10-max. (10-max!)
-3 Play at a 10 handed table first. Play microstakes, and drag the HUD to the right position for all the 10 players. In Table Manager (that pops open when you start the auto import)--> click File--> SAVE POSITIONS.
-4 Play at the 6max table.... in Table Manager rightclick on the table.. and make sure it uses 10-max settings...!

I tryed it.
It works, but if i dont have my "seat" free in the table i want to play it do not work!!
So i just can play in tables were my seat is free!! Thats silly...there must be some way! That should be fixed in some update!
Im not sure what you mean "my seat" free, you cant pick what seat your in, when you sit in your automatically moved to the 6 o clock position, i know this works perfect because i just wrote a FAQ for it the other day.

My guess...
Like you say - it might be your Pacific settings. You might have a box ticked in Pacific that should be unticked. Can you take a look ?
In the Pacific Poker 'user settings' dialog on the 'graphics tab' you must NOT have a check mark in the box called 'Do not show table in first-person view'

in the FAQ it says it this way: First we need to verify we have preferred seating (first person view) enabled in Pacific Poker. Go to settings in the pacific poker lobby and choose Gameplay, then go to the Graphics TAB and make sure "do not show table in first-person view" is unticked.

After that sit anywhere on a 10-seat table & follow the instructions already given in this thread & the FAQ
So i cant use classic view?! Because its impossible to unmark that box!

In the FAQ it's showing Avatar View. What happens when you try the Avatar View or the Clear View ? Are you able to uncheck that box then ?
Yes i can uncheck.
But i really dont like those views
