Default HEM1 continues to import the same file again and again

I just received som hands from a friend. i asked it to import from the folder where i saved his hands.

when the file was imported, it dissapeared and i haven't been able to find it since.

now it continues to import the same files again and again.

how do i make it stop?

if you think you can help me, please add me on skype. the name is IFart4U

Move any handhistory file(s) that is stuck in your auto import folders to your archive folder, default C:/HMArchive.
Don't add your archive folder as an auto import folder, or create any import 'loop'.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to th e windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates./

"not archiving activated" = IS the cause
why you can not set archive as source for dropbox?

because i tried that in the past and it doesnt import all hands. Some sessions were missing hands.. That was a long time ago (prolly over a year) and I never really tried to set archieve as the source for DP, maybe thats not an issue anymore.. I guess ill give it a try.

And about my original DB? Can i fix it?

@ifart4u: go to hand importing--> auto import folders--> go over all the folders--> edit--> and check if:
    [v] include subfolders
[v] archive handhistory files after importing
    are both turned on
and a valid archive folder is selected

@Nakamator: hands showing up duplicate times in your reports is the sign of a corrupt database.
Connect to your old database: Options--> Database Management--> Connect--> Select the old--> EXPORT HANDS.
Then reimport all your hands into the new database.
