    Default Can't install PostgreSQL

I have tried to install PostgreSQL in Windows Vista Home Premium, but I'm getting the message: 'Failed to open the Secondary Logon service: The specified service does not exist as an installed service.' Any ideas on how to install it?

This is a new one i havent seen but it looks like PostgreSQL isnt starting.

First and probably not connected but make sure nonetheless that the UAC is disabled: http://208.109.95.123/faq/?f=73

Then follow this instruction and let me know if PostgreSQL was started or if you had to start it.

If youve aborted the installation since your best off completely uninstalling PostgreSQL through the control Panel> Add/Remove programs and reinstall again and do above if it gets stuck at the same spot and let us know how you get on

    Cheers
