Hi, I've been playing Texas Hold Em for 2 years now. During this period I've learned the game by playing live and online, reading books, playing with HUDS, discussing strategies with friends, ect. A few months ago my family and I relocated to another state, and I no longer have a good group of buddies to discuss poker strategy with. I feel like this is a big gap that I am missing in advancing my poker skills.
Anyone interested in meeting up on occasion to talk poker, HM2, NoteCaddy, Hand Ranges etc? I've been using NoteCaddy in Holdem Manager 2 for several months now and am finally realizing just how powerful it is. I'm posting this thread in search of other poker players who are interesting in improving their game through group discussion, skype, email, instant messaging, video chat, whatever it takes.
I'm 25 years old. I play live $1/3 and $2/5 poker at my local casino a couple times a month. And I play online cash games, mostly $200NL, several times per week. I do not play poker full time, I have a full time job and play poker in my free time. I would consider myself a decent player who has the ability to get significantly better with the right tools and the right group of people to study the game with.
Cheers,
