I decided tonight to vaccum the database when I follow the directions I come to a box that says enter password. What is the password used in set up. I think it was postgresspass is this right. Please help I am lost.

You are in pgadminII trying to connect to the database?
The default password is postgrespass but if you choose a different one during the postgres installation you should see it in the Holdemmanager database management (under options).
vaccuming data
How do I know when the vaccuming is finished.
The button that is greyed out will change to say 'Done'. If you have never vaccumed and have a large DB it can take a long time to vacuum. The reindex process is usually about half the time of a full/vacuum.
