What are my options if I run Linux OS?

Hi, first post. I really want Hold'em Manager. But I'm having trouble installing it on my computer. I run Ubuntu OS (linux). I use Wine Windows Emulator to download and install executables for Windows and haven't had any problems with it before (although pretty much the only thing I've used it for was pokerstars.exe and fulltilt.exe.) I could describe the problems I'm having if need be. But, obviously, what I'm mostly wondering is if it is even possible and what my options are?

What i've talked with mac users using vmware, they say it works just fine. You should try that out.
