NoteCaddy 2.4 - The future's on the bound

NoteCaddy 2.4 contains two skull-smashing new features.

Action Sequences

An all new action filtering system: Filtering player actions - Assaultware Wiki. The old system had outgrown itself and was too difficult to learn. The new system is not only easier to use but also much more powerful.



Now you can make notes where you specify things like 3 bet shove, open raise 30% of stack size, etc.

Composite Definitions

An all new type of definition, composite definitions allow you to make literally any HUD stat you want. For example, won when check raised dry flop, VPIP - PFR Composite Definitions - Assaultware Wiki



Composite definitions can also be used in color definitions to make badges or for color coding players on PokerStars or OnGame.


All known issues have been addressed and a new diagnostic screen is available to troubleshoot occasional problems.

Began testing new approach to creating definition.

Logic of definition creation is a much simpler now.
This is a big step forward. Ty!

small suggestions:

1) * - does not appear when change Player Types or Position, moreover, at the close of definitions with unsaved changes in Player Types or Position there are no question - "save?" or "No", definition is simply closed, and the changes are not saved

2)Player Types and Position - These options are not visible on the screen, only the drop-down menu, so I propose to change the color of the button, if these parameters differ from the default. This will speed up the def analysis process

Most likely reason is that I did not choose Raise, Fold, Call etc before pressing "save", but from such a mistake no one is safe

Sreti, i record a video with 3 bugs.

The first bug is related to an endless need to press "Save file" in Action Sequence

Second bug - Seek is almost hang (3-5 hands in minute) after adding the specific action in Action Sequence

Third - Forced saving settings Hud Options after the user clicked - "do not save".
(BTW - what is default font for NC hud?)

2) Unfortunately, I do not understand how i can apply

I am getting same error, when I go back to previous action it shows empty fields, meaning things have not been saved :-(

EDIT: I think I figured it out, instead of clicking on save on 'Actions' I have to click on save on 'Action Sequences' to save the action, than it saves the values.

I have some trouble with sequences.

On your wiki page you wrote : "A sequence is a series of actions. You can define multiple sequences, only one of which needs to be true."

I tried a simple test.

Player raise preflop.

Sequence 1 = Player Cbets
Sequence 2 = Player Checks

When I test this definition.

Hand 1 : player Cbets => Success
Hand 2 : player Checks => Action : bet could have happened but did not "Test cbet sequence"

I modified my definition :

Sequence 1 = Player Checks
Sequence 2 = Player CBets

Hand 1 : player Cbets => Action : Check could have happened but did not "Test cbet sequence"
Hand 2 : player Checks => Success

Is it a bug or did I misunderstand the wiki page ?

"Segoe UI" but I don't that it's installed by default on windows 95 so that might be why yours showed blank initially.

I use camtasia and it gives you an option to include the pc's current audio

that is indeed a viable workaround but shouldn't be necessary. It will be fixed in the next version

It's infinitely easier for me to look at if you attach the definition + hand1 & 2. It certainly could be a bug but I need to see it happen
