    Default Own HEM-PV, Want 15-Day Free Trial of OM-PV

    Want to make sure I'm taking the correct steps to get the free trial of Omaha Manager (Professional Version) and not corrupt my current HEM database.

    I currently own HEM (Professional Version).


    Do I take the following steps?:

    (1) Go to your homepage

    (2) Click "Omaha" tab

    (3) Click "Download Trial"

    (4) Click and install "Holdem Manager 1.09 Patch"


    Are these the steps to establishing a 15 day free trial of Omaha Manager (Professional Version)?

    It is all one program and you simply filter for Holdem/Omaha with a Game Type Selector drop-down menu. If you are happy with the Hold Em abilities of HM you won't be disappointed in the Omaha side of it. It is just like HM, except 2 more cards.

    Unfortunately it is not possible to add a trial of Omaha to an existing licensed installation. We do offer a 10 day full refund, so you could use that as a trial of sorts.

    OK ... I made the purchase and was sent a new serial code.

    I opened HEM (via my desktop) but don't see anything different or an Omaha tab.

    Please advise. Thank you.

    I did some research and went to:

    Help>Clear License Code

    I clicked "Yes" and then got an error prompt which started off "An error occured while trying to clear the serial code. To manually clear the code do the following"

    It says to go into Windows Explorer but I use Firefox as my browser. I opened Explorer anyway and clicked on Tools>Options and don't see a "View Tab" which it tells you to click as the 2nd step.

    Please advise on what I can do to get my new serial code activated.

    Windows Explorer is different than Internet Explorer. You use Windows Explorer to browse the files on your computer.

    Start > Computer (or My Computer)

    1. Delete C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\holdemmanager.exe.ldat (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)

    2. Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)

    3. Update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

    If you can't find those files, DO NOT delete any other files with similar names.

    Please send your Reg.log from the C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs folder to support@holdemmanager.net.
