    Default Backup old database from external HD.

    My motherboard crashed on my desktop pc, so I took the hard drive out and turned it into an external HD hooked to my laptop for recovery purposes. Hem on both pc and laptop btw. How can I grab the database off of my old HD? Where do I look and how can it be done so I can get my full database onto laptop?

    You need to reinstall Postgresql with using the old data subfolder (the cluster).
